We help older adults live independently in their own homes for longer. If you are a caring person looking for an employer with a difference, our amazing team at Right at Home Ipswich will train, value and support you.

This position requires a compassionate and friendly Live-in Caregiver to support a female client in Ipswich on a 2 week on, 2 week off basis. The successful applicant must live in the East of England to travel to training on 27/7/21 and 28/7/21.

As a Right at Home Live-in Caregiver, you will likely already have experience of live-in care, but more importantly, you will be caring, reliable and willing to learn. You will need good communication skills and have a genuine desire to make a difference to someone's day to day life.

For this placement, an enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) background check is required to be already in place and registered with the update service.

As a Live-in Caregiver, companionship is always at the heart of our service, and you will also be responsible for assisting with some or all of the following:

  • Shopping
  • Light housekeeping
  • Meal preparation
  • Personal care
  • Medication
  • Encouragement and assistance with hobbies and interests

Skills and experience:

  • A compassionate nature and friendly personality
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic cookery and food hygiene skills
